Membership Terms

These terms apply to all Eternity Arts memberships — both the Apprentice and Artist tiers, whether purchased as annual or lifetime. By signing up for a membership, you agree to these terms.

If something in these terms conflicts with the main policies page, these terms apply to membership matters.

What your membership includes

Access, content, and features

What's included in each tier is listed on the Membership page. Access is granted once payment clears. Members may use all features that come with their tier; Apprentices cannot access Artist-tier features without upgrading.

We may add content, features, or benefits to your tier over the course of your membership. We don't generally remove features, but if we need to discontinue something material — a specific piece of content, a feature, a forum section — we'll give members reasonable notice and, where appropriate, offer a prorated refund for the remaining term.

One person, one account

No shared logins

Memberships are for one person's use. Don't share your login with another person. Don't let other people watch the training videos from your account. Don't download the Phase 1 workbook and pass it around. Don't post training videos or workbook content anywhere outside the site.

If you're a church, camp, school, or other organization that needs access for multiple people, call us at 231-675-9210 — we offer institutional licenses that are explicitly for multi-person use.

We monitor account activity and may suspend accounts that show signs of being shared (simultaneous logins from multiple locations, unusual access patterns, workbook or video content appearing on third-party sites).

Content ownership and use

What you can do with what we give you

The training videos, the Phase 1 PDF workbook, the Individual Talks archive, and any other training content on the site are copyrighted material. Your membership grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use that content for your own learning and practice.

What's allowed:

  • Watch training videos and read the workbook as many times as you want, from your own devices.
  • Practice the techniques we teach and perform the drawings you learn — at churches, camps, schools, events, ministries, or as part of your own artistic practice.
  • Discuss what you've learned in our forums or elsewhere in conversation.

What's not allowed:

  • Downloading, copying, or redistributing the training videos or workbook in any form.
  • Posting training content to YouTube, social media, file-sharing services, or anywhere else.
  • Using the content to teach your own paid course that substantially reproduces our Phase 1 or Phase 2 curriculum.
  • Claiming our training content as your own.

These restrictions continue to apply after your membership ends.

Upgrades and downgrades

Changing tiers

You can upgrade from Apprentice to Artist at any time from your account profile. The system will prorate the charge based on time remaining in your current subscription.

Downgrades from Artist to Apprentice take effect at the next renewal date. Between your downgrade request and the next renewal, you retain full Artist access. We don't prorate partial-term refunds on downgrades.

Cancellation and renewal

How memberships end

Annual memberships renew automatically each year unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current term — you keep access until then, and you won't be charged again.

Lifetime memberships don't renew. You pay once and keep access for as long as the platform exists and your account is in good standing.

If your payment method fails at renewal and we can't collect, we'll email you and give you 14 days to update your payment information before your membership is suspended.

Suspension and termination

When we may close an account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a membership if a member:

  • Violates these terms, the forum content policy, or the main policies
  • Shares their login with others
  • Redistributes training content outside the platform
  • Uses the site in a way that harms other members
  • Files a chargeback on a legitimate charge instead of requesting a refund

We'll usually send a warning first. In serious cases — copyright violation, harassment of other members, threats, fraud — we may suspend without warning.

Termination for cause doesn't trigger a refund. If we terminate a membership in error, we'll restore access and compensate any disruption.

Refunds

Refund terms for memberships are covered separately on the Digital Refund Policy page.

Changes to these terms

When we update

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll email active members at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use your membership after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
